THE 80s

This is a funny pic of me back in the mid 1980s. I thought it was a good follow up to my last post. A jump forward almost 30 years. My hair had been colored and I was power lounging with a smoke to boot. A very lean time in my life, when synths had replaced guitars, and I was wondering what happened to music, or what had happened to me.

Well Joe it looks to me like you didn't fall victim to the whole 80's fashion fiasco! Glad to see you're not sporting a mullet, big hair or wearing anything made of Lycra/Spandex. You should be very proud of yourself!

Hey Joe,

I just published my new post and found your comment in my previous one...
What a weird coincidence for both of us to be talking about the 80s(I talk about an 80s group). Parallel universe, twillight zone and all that.

Looking at the pictures, I can see a resemblance with you father around the nose-mouth area...

Take care,
:-)

Joe,

you were looking too cool for words there! And yes, I see the resemblance to your father also.

If I can ever figure out where my boyfriend has stored all our pictures, I'll eventually have posts with pics!

Cheers,
Anne-Marie

I agree, you do look like your father, but still have the same eyes as when you were a baby! :p

Keith Moon as a role model, hey? Wow. I don't know if I'd take it that far, but I have been working a lot on picking up a similar drumming style, lately. I like the flailing ape sound. It's almost desperate, but you can hear he knows what he was doing at the same time.

I don't know, looks pretty cool to me Joe. I can't say I looked cool in the 80's though - my God, that's over 20 years ago, what happened?
