Summer Winds Down

Temps up here. 103F several days in a row. I played handyman Sunday. I replaced LawnMower blades on Sharons lawn tractor and her push mower. We also off loaded 10 big round bales of hay that I had delivered. Thank God she has a swimming pool. I enjoyed a swim, while the horses and llamas enjoyed new hay. We went to my fav place Port Aransas back in July. Took the RV and had a great time. Caught several nice Sand Trout, a few Croakers, and some Hard Head Catfish. All were set free to swim again. Hope all is well with everyone. Give me a shout.
Pic of me and Sharon at a Banquet a few months back.

Love Joseph

Hi Joe,
Nice to hear from you. I see that you're doing well, which is lovely to read.

I've had a slow and peaceful summer, which has been great. Camping, relaxing, reading, and writing- heaven.

Take care of yourself and continue to be well.

xx

Hi Joe, you both look happy and healthy. Good to see.

Was thinking about you yesterday. Have been checking CD's in and out of the local library and happened upon a little gem called "In a Moment" by Ronniee Lane. Great stuff it was, especially the tune "How Come", which I remember from growing up.

Well, same old same old with me. Tore my studio appart on Sunday, will try to post photos on the blog. Basically got new monitor, speakers needed to be raised to ear level, oh and the piano was always in the way stuck in front of my amp... ended up completely re-doing the entire desk, but is working much better. Should have a new song up any day now.

Well, good to see Towser is back eh? Take care of yourself.

Hey JoeBoy,

Time to resurrect Wild Child; let's call it Second Child. We need a drummer or guitarist (depending on which you want to take). Working on a list o' songs for consideration...

Lonesome Roads; Dwight Yoakum
Help the Poor; Clapton/BB
Down by the River (natch)
Uncle Remus; Zappa
Is She Really Going Out With Him; Joe Jackson
St. James Infirmary; Pops
The Weight; The Band
Milk Cow Blues; Bob Wills
The Letter; think Mad Dogs & Englishmen
et alia

Cream may have been the first trio SuperGroup, but Wild Child was second!

How's that song go? I did WHAT in the morning?
